Tiny Ear Trainer

Installation (from source)
==========================
To install use you need to have the following libraries installed:

 * Python 2.6 (2.5 MIGHT work too, will require simplejson)
 * PyGTK >= 2.10
 * fluidsynth
 * a soundfont (fluid-soundfont-gm)

To install the application execute: ``python setup.py install`` as 
superuser (root). If you are using a gnome based system like Ubuntu
you can just doubleclick ``install.sh`` and select run.

Distribution Specific Installation Hints
========================================

Ubuntu
------
sudo apt-get install fluidsynth fluid-soundfont-gm

Hacking
=======
If you want to change tiny ear trainer, please use the git repository
and send me either a patch or your repository url afterwards::

    $ git clone http://29a.ch/git/tinyeartrainer
    hack...
    $ git diff > myfeature.patch

Known Issues
============
* fluidsynth seems to have issues with pulseaudio sometimes
* playback sometimes hangs for unknown reasons
